Welcome to Jaguar Hockey Club |
The club was founded in 1924 and was originally part of the GEC Sports and Social Club. Following the renaming of the club to GPT then Marconi in line with company changes the decision was taken in 2002 to break away and form Jaguar Coventry Hockey Club which since last season has enjoyed the new Astroturf and facilities at Coventry University.
The club has always been a strong social group with players of all ages enjoying training throughout the year and most playing on a Saturday in one of the four men’s teams in the MRHA leagues and the three ladies teams in the WWH leagues.
Outside the normal hockey season Jaguar enters the Summer League and many of our players both young and old join up with former club members and players from other cubs throughout the UK as the clubs touring side “Zulus HTC” to enjoy the delights of the many mixed hockey festivals taking place during the summer months.
